He said a visit to several wholesale outlets and marketplaces in Tyumen had showed that Uzbek fruit and vegetables had so far been imported in small batches and at hiked prices.

"Ozmarkazimpeks is seeking to establish regular supplies of vegetables, fruit and textiles to the Tyumen Region, to give local consumers an opportunity to buy good quality products at lower prices," he stressed.
