Akhmad Ubaydullaev guides Uzbekistan to AFC U-19 Championship final
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan defeated South Korea to reach final of the AFC U-19 Championship on Tuesday, 11 November 2008.

A goal of captain Sherzod Karimov in the 17th minute of the match to give a lead to Uzbekistan, which later turned to be decisive.

Uzbekistan coach Akhmad Ubaydullaev side defended well all the match and attacked sharply when there was a chance. Kenja Turaev had several chances to score, but he failed to convert them into goals.

In its turn, South Korean side attacked in the second half and had several chances to equalize. But they missed all their chances.

In the dieing minutes of the match, South Korean goalkeeper was sent off for kicking Uzbekistan’s defender and quarterfinal hero Murod Khalmukhamedov.

Uzbekistan reached its first final of AFC U-19 Championship and it will face either Australia or the UAE.
