Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has secured 58th place in the Global Firepower ranking of the world’s strongest armies, which covers 145 countries.

The country improved its position by climbing seven places compared to last year, when it ranked 65th.

In Central Asia, Kazakhstan holds 57th place, Turkmenistan is ranked 77th, Kyrgyzstan 105th, and Tajikistan 108th.

The United States tops the list, while Bhutan ranks last. Russia and China are placed second and third, respectively.
