Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On approval of international agreements” on 25 February 2011.

In particular, the President approved agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar on economic, trade and technical cooperation.

The resolution also approved agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar on cooperation in legal sphere and memorandum of understanding between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar on cooperation in environment protection and rational use of natural resources for sustainable development.

These documents were signed in Doha on 24 November 2010 within the official visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Qatar.

President Islam Karimov entrusted the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs to notify Qatari side about implementation of inter-state procedures, necessary for entering into force of the signed agreements.
