Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency,3.1 million tons of fruits and berries were grown in Uzbekistan in 2023.
The volume of fruit and berry production increased by 4.1% compared to the same period in 2022.
Distribution of the volume of grown fruits and berries by regions of Uzbekistan:
- Andijan region – 696,800 tons.
- Fergana region – 403,800 tons.
- Samarkand region – 373,400 tons.
- Namangan region – 366,700 tons.
- Bukhara region – 303,400 tons.
- Surkhandarya region – 180,300 tons.
- Kashkadarya region – 177,800 tons.
- Khorezm region – 169,000 tons.
- Tashkent region – 137,100 tons.
- Navoi region – 106,200 tons.
- Jizzakh region – 93,700 tons.
- Karakalpakstan – 67,200 tons.
- Syrdarya region – 46,300 tons.
