Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2024, Uzbekistan produced 40.76 billion cubic meters of natural gas, a decrease of 4.7% compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistics Agency.
Oil production declined by 7.3%, totaling 657.6 thousand tons, down from 709.3 thousand tons the previous year.
At the same time, the production of gas condensate increased by 1.7%, reaching 1.11 million tons.
A significant increase was recorded in coal production: volumes grew by 27.5%, from 5.75 million tons to 7.33 million tons.
The production of automotive gasoline amounted to 1.18 million tons, a 2.4% decrease compared to January-November 2023. Meanwhile, the production of diesel fuel decreased by 2.9%, totaling 912.4 thousand tons.
It was previously reported that the company Uzneftegaz plans to produce 26.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2025.
