Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 December, power plants in Uzbekistan produced 254.5 million kWh of electricity and supplied 247.2 million kWh of electricity to consumers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

To achieve this, 43.5 million cubic meters of natural gas, 18.1 thousand tons of coal and 12.1 thousand tons of fuel oil were burned at thermal power plants.

Natural gas consumption in the republic amounted to 159 million cubic meters.

Currently, 624 of the 1,204 methane gas stations receiving natural gas from Khududgaztminot JSC operate according to the established schedule.

Yesterday, the Uzbekneftegaz delivered a total of 1,028 tons of gasoline to gas stations in the Ferghana Valley, including 406 tons in Andijan region, 346 tons in Namangan region and 276 tons in Ferghana region.

4.5 million cubic meters of natural gas and 800 tons of liquefied gas were delivered to gas filling compressor stations for cars (methane filling stations).

3.51 thousand tons of gasoline and 1.95 thousand tons of diesel fuel were placed on the exchange market, of which 3.51 thousand tons of gasoline and 594 tons of diesel fuel were sold.
