Jahon news agency reported that the main goal of the presentation was to inform public about achievements of Uzbekistan and tourism potential.

Representatives of the government, political and business circles, tourism companies, heads of diplomatic corps, international organizations and others participate at the event.

During the presentation, the participants got acquainted with measures, adopted in Uzbekistan, to develop tourism industry, rich history of Uzbekistan, ancient monuments and culture of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz, etc.

Within two days, the Uzbek pavilion attracted large number of people. They had chance to familiarize with works of the Uzbek masters, national clothes, fabrics, souvenirs and Uzbek cuisine.

Several days earlier, Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan organized a presentation at the Baku State University. Public and political circles, teachers and students of the university attended the meeting.

At the event, the participants received information about achievements of Uzbekistan in politics, social-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, main direction of foreign policy, position of Uzbekistan on regional and international issues, including use of water and energy resources, environment, etc.
