World Fest is one of the largest cultural festivals in the United States, and it is organized by Louisville Administration. Representatives of 120 countries participate at the festival each year, which is attended by over 50,000 people, Fund Forum said.

The programme of festival included presentation of exhibition stands, which reflected national colors of the countries, samples of traditional and applied art, etc. In special scenes, the participants demonstrated their national dances and presented songs. The visitors also had chance to taste cuisines of nations from Africa, Asia, Europe and others.

Uzbekistan participated at the event for the first time. The national stand was decorated in national style and attracted large number of visitors. The stand presented book “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan”, documentary films about Uzbekistan and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, tourism sights, samples of national applied arts, etc. Table with the Uzbek cuisine was one of the most visited sights at the festival.

Overall, some 5,000 people visited stand of Uzbekistan at the festival during two days and familiarized with history of Uzbekistan, its ancient cities and architecture sights, etc. Tourism routes also attracted attention of the guests. Souvenirs and booklets of Fund Forum were also resented to the visitors.
