Uzbekistan, Poland football bodies to cooperate in training referees, coaches
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) and Poland Football Federation (PFF) signed a memorandum of cooperation on 29 April, which entered into force immediately.

The document was inked after the meeting of the UFF President Mirabrar Usmanov with the Polish delegation led by PFF President Grzegorz Lato.

Mirabrar Usmanov expressed his condolences to his Polish counterpart in connection with the death of the Poland’s President Lech Kaczynski. He stated that it is great loss.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation. Usmanov said that the Uzbekistan can receive a lot from Polish football, which has own place in Europe. The sides considered issues on training of coaches and referees, improving material base, as well as developing children football. The sides also discussed cooperation of national teams.

UFF President proposed to his counterpart to hold a friendly match between Uzbekistan and Poland in Tashkent on the eve of Uzbekistan’s Independence [31 August].

In his turn, Grzegorz Lato expressed gratitude to Mirabrar Usmanov for warm welcome and said that Polish football governing body will do its best in interaction in developing of football in Uzbekistan.

Lato offered to appoint Ravshan Irmatov as referee in final match of Poland Cup, which will be held in Warsaw on 23 May 2010.

He said that if Ravshan Ermatov agrees to officiate this match, it would be useful for both sides. HE added that Uzbekistan and Poland could hold friendly match in any official FIFA dates. He said the sides can hold match in Tashkent and one in Warsaw.
