The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information (UzACI) organized the roundtable to familiarize postal service specialists with regional approaches on appointing operators within the strategic regional project of the Universal Postal Union “Improvement of postal service quality”.

Strategic project envisages improvement of methodology and use of modern technologies, measuring system and other means to improve postal service quality, strengthening reliability and sustainability of postal networks.

Hakim Muhiddinov, director-general of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information, said that currently high quality services attract customers to postal operators.

Representatives of the UzACI, Uzbekistan Pochtasi, EMS FALCON, Tashkent Information Technologies University, UNICON.UZ, State Communication Inspection, UzACI said.

Participants reviewed current state of international postal services, sending EMS in Uzbekistan, implementation of the regional strategic project “Improving postal service quality – complex approach”.
