Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to place Eurobonds denominated in dollars and soums. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in banking circles.

Today Uzbekistan will hold a series of calls with investors on the possible placement of Eurobonds.

Uzbekistan is planning new 10-year securities in dollars and Eurobonds in soums with maturity in three or five years.

The organizers are Citi, Gazprombank, J.P. Morgan and MUFG.

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan Odilbek Isakov reported that in 2021 Uzbekistan plans to place state treasury bonds for 5 trillion. soums, as well as international eurobonds - for US$700 million.
