Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to limit price increases at automobile gas filling compressor stations (CNG filling stations) after increasing gas tariffs. The corresponding draft document has been submitted for discussion.

Responsible departments will ensure that gas meters at CNG filling stations are connected to an automated system for monitoring and accounting for natural gas. Data will be transmitted online.

In addition, control measures will be strengthened to identify, eliminate and prevent illegal connections, theft of fuel and energy resources and other cases of illegal consumption, as well as the causes and conditions contributing to their occurrence.

It is planned that in the next six months the maximum retail price for natural gas at gas filling stations will not exceed 3,250 soums per cubic meter.

Which gas stations will not receive gas:

those who have not connected metering devices to the system;

not transmitting data online;

allowing an unreasonable increase in the limited retail price, illegal consumption of fuel and energy resources.
