It was said nineteen projects for US$187 million, which will be realized in Navoi free industrial-economic zone, were signed. These enterprises will be able to produce goods for US$375.5 million a year in their full capacity. The half of produced goods will be exported.

Navoi Investment Forum was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade and Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank and Islamic Development Bank. The event was attended by representatives of major international financial institutions, international organizations and foreign companies operating in our country’s diplomatic corps.

At the conclusion of negotiations between the Uzbek enterprises and foreign companies have signed documents on cooperation in oil, fuel and energy sector, the field of pharmaceuticals, light industry, textile, food, chemical and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and other fields.
