Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is considering the possibility of constructing a 38-km-long Syrdarya-Bakht bypass road on the M39 Tashkent-Termez highway.

Representatives of Al Bawani and Sajco companies from Saudi Arabia met with representatives of the Committee on Roads of Uzbekistan to discuss this project.

Foreign partners familiarized themselves with the project and conducted a study of local infrastructure in preparation for the possible implementation of the project.

The visit of company representatives to Uzbekistan is related to their interest in investing in the road construction industry, which was expressed back in August last year at the Ministry of Transport.
