Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan held negotiations with Philip Krause, the Vice President of the Emirati company Jumeirah Group, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the meeting, Uzbekistan’s investment, economic, and tourism potential was presented. It was noted that over the past seven years, the number of foreign tourists visiting the country has tripled, the volume of tourism service exports has increased fivefold, and the number of hotels and accommodations has grown tenfold.
Information about projects for the privatization and reconstruction of major hotel complexes in Uzbekistan was also shared.
It was emphasized that Jumeirah Group’s entry into the Uzbekistan market would further increase the number of hotels and tourists.
Philip Krause, in turn, shared information about the company’s activities and plans.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to consider this matter with the company’s founders.
