Uzbekistan Plans Regular Cargo Rail Services to Europe

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan plans to establish regular cargo rail services to European countries by April 2026.

This initiative is included in the practical action plan under the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated 19 August 2025.

Negotiations with foreign partners are scheduled in the near future.

Following these talks, Vice Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov, Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, and Foreign Minister Bakhtier Saidov will prepare concrete proposals for organizing international rail freight services.
