Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 4 to 6 April 2023, the 19th International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel AITF-2023 is being held in the capital of Azerbaijan in Baku. For the first time, the Republic of Uzbekistan participates in the Azerbaijan International Tourism Exhibition as a "Partner Country". 

The participation of the Uzbek delegation is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National PR Center State Unitary Enterprise, as well as the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of Uzbekistan Airways JSC.

At the opening of the tourism exhibition, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ashrafkhanov Bakhrom, as well as the director of the National PR Center Samandarova Dilfuza spoke.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at a conference call on 29 March, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkey were attached to the Khorezm region in order to attract tourists and increase the export of services in the region.

In order to fulfill this order, a large delegation from Khorezm region is participating in the exhibition. Among them are 7 travel companies, the directorate of Ichan-Kala, representatives of culture and art, musicians, as well as Khunarmands of the Khorezm region. Azerbaijani tour operators on active sales of venues and familiarization with the conditions of participation in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TITF-2023, which will be held in November this year in Tashkent.

As part of the AITF-2023 exhibition, an evening reception is also planned on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will include a presentation of the tourism potential of our country, a cultural program with performances by artists of the Khorezm National Ensemble, a demonstration of folk arts and crafts and national cuisine.
