Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan participated as a partner country in the annual Global Tourism Forum held in Brussels under the auspices of the World Tourism Forum.
The forum brought together tourism administration leaders from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Sweden, the UK, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, the UAE, and the Maldives. It also hosted EU Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament, and representatives of international tourism organizations. Uzbekistan showcased its extensive reforms in the tourism sector, with a special focus on sustainable tourism development.
The national exhibit, featuring video presentations, highlighted Uzbekistan's vast tourism potential.
The forum also included bilateral negotiations aimed at enhancing international cooperation in the tourism sector.
