During the congress, the participants considered issues related to developing medical tourism in the countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The event was attended by representatives of 100countries, including about 57 member states of the OIC.

Within the congress, the bilateral talks and meetings with representatives of the several countries to discuss cooperation in developing medical and ecotourism in Uzbekistan were held.

The participation in the congress will give additional opportunities to attract investments to developing tourism and implementing projects on construction of hotels, motels, camping, as well as the programmeon developing tourism sector in Uzbekistan.
