Over 800 Austrian and foreign tourism companies and operators, hotels and airlines from 100 countries, including from Uzbekistan, participated at the event. Some 140,000 persons attended the event in three days.
Visitors of Uzbekistan’s stand received information on tourism potential of Uzbekistan, effective results of reforms in development and improvement of tourism potential. They also familiarized with development of ecological, medical, historic-architecture, cultural and other types of tourism in Uzbekistan.
It was noted that Uzbekistan has over 4,000 historic monuments, including palaces and castles, mosques, minarets, etc.
General manager of East Link Walter Trettenham in interview with Jahon said that Uzbekistan is one of dynamically developing countries, which was able to modernize tourism infrastructure, create and develop new tourism directions in recent years. He said that tourists, visiting Uzbekistan, can receive quality hotel, transport and other tourism services.
