Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8-10 September 2024, the Joint Conference of two major international textile federations of the world - the Annual Conference ITMF and the IAF Fashion Convention - will be held in Samarkand.

This large-scale event will bring together more than 1,000 major players in the global textile industry in Uzbekistan. Leaders of more than 500 international organizations, textile companies, brands and retailers, financial institutions from Europe, the CIS, Asia, Africa and America will gather for the first time on one platform to discuss issues of further development of the global textile industry.

On 6 November 2023, within the framework of the Annual Conference of the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers and Textile Week in Keqiao, the Uztekstilprom Association announced the holding of the ITMF Annual Conference & IAF World Fashion Convention in Uzbekistan.

Earlier, on 25 October, at the Fashion Convention of the International Apparel Federation - IAF 2023 in Philadelphia, USA, it was announced that the next IAF conference would also be held in the city of Samarkand.

The textile industry of Uzbekistan is moving forward confidently. The international community is closely monitoring positive changes in the country and note a big breakthrough in the development of textiles in Uzbekistan. In a very short period of time, the Uzbek textile industry has been transformed into a competitive international manufacturer. Such events will certainly contribute to the emergence of Uzbekistan as a significant player in the global textile industry.
