Uzbekistan Olympic team to participate in Kiev tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Olympic team will participate in international football tournament dedicated to memory of Valirey Lobanovski on 8-11 August 2011. Tournament will be attended by Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Israel.

Uzbekistan will play against Serbia on 9 August, while Ukraine will face Israel. The winners will qualify to final, while losers will play for the third place.

Uzbekistan is preparing to London Olympic Games qualifiers. Uzbekistan will face Australia, Iraq and the UAE in the third round.
