Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wrestling competitions start today at the 19th Summer Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, Dunyo news agency reports.

According to the National Olympic Committee, medals will first be awarded among Greco-Roman masters. Also during the day, football players of Uzbekistan will take to the field to reach the finals, and weightlifters, cyclists, and track and field athletes will compete for awards, and they will also compete for prizes in equestrian sports in the direction of show jumping.

On the morning of 4 October, athletes of Uzbekistan took 5th place in the team competition with 50 medals. Of these, 14 are gold, 15 are silver and 21 are bronze.

350 members of the Uzbekistan national team take part in competitions in 36 out of 40 sports.

The games will last until 8 October.
