Uzbekistan team gathered in Tashkent on 8 November and started preparation to the match against Iran. The federation said that midfielders Timur Kapadze and Odil Akhmedov will not be able to help Uzbekistan due to injuries.

Forwards Ivan Nagaev and Vladimir Shishelov were not included to the team, which travelled to Iran.
