In the 1/8 finals of the tournament, Uzbekistan lost to the national team of Iran in a thrilling match. The match ended with a score of 8:9.

Khusniddin Nishonov scored a hat-trick, and Dilshod Rakhmatov - a double for Uzbekistan. Also goals were scored by Ikhtiyor Ropiev, Anaskhon Rakhmatov and Ilkhomjon Khamroev.
