Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 27 September to 6 October, IAAF World Athletics Championships will be held in the capital of Qatar, Doha. In the competitions, which will be attended by more than 100 countries, the national team of Uzbekistan will also take part as well.

Among our compatriots Svetlana Radzivil and Nadia Dusanova will be the first to perform in the qualifying round for high jumps. Also, Ruslan Kurbanov will perform in the triple jump, Sitora Khamidova and Andrei Petrov in the marathon, Ekaterina Voronina in the all-around.

In April of this year, three of our representatives: Nadia Dusanova, Ekaterina Voronina and Ruslan Kurbanov won gold medals and a ticket to the World Championships in the arena where the current World Championships is taking place. And the rest of our compatriots managed to fulfill the standards of the World Championships.
