Uzbekistan moves one place up in new FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams on 14 August 2014.

According to new ranking, Uzbekistan moved one place up and now holds the 51st place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the third team in the Asia after Japan (44th place) and Iran (48).

Among the CIS states, Uzbekistan is also on the fourth place after Ukraine (22), Russia (23) and Armenia (36).

Germany, Argentina and the Netherlands are top three nations in the FIFA ranking.
