Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 March, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Rakhmonzoda.

At the meeting, measures to improve trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, develop relations between representatives of the business community and issues requiring implementation in this direction were discussed.

In particular, it was noted that the VI meeting of the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan Business Council is planned to be held in Dushanbe in April, which will be attended by 13 industry and industry associations under the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ambassador Abdujabbor Rakhmonzoda expressed his readiness to help organize this event at a high level.

In addition, the Chamber provided detailed information on the ongoing work to open the Trade House of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue the exchange of information and establish interregional cooperation between the regional chambers of the two countries.
