The committee said that enterprises of the industry manufactured 955,000 tonnes mineral fertilizers. The growth rate made up 5.4% year-on-year.

In the reporting period, the production of potash fertilizers grew by 17.8%, nitric fertilizers - 4.5%, phosphatic manure – by 2.7%. Production of plant protection goods rose by 4.6% year-on-year.

Uzbekistan also achieved growth of production of carboxymethylcellulose (2.1 times), nitric acid (2 times), technical salt (2 times), acetaldehyde (62.5%), synthetic washing detergents (49.4%), sulphate ammonium (17.7%), potassium natrium (13.8%), hydrochloric acid (12.1%), sulphuric acid (3.2%), etc.
