Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is making its first-ever appearance at Scandinavia’s largest travel fair, the Danish Travel Show, held from 21 to 23 February in Herning, Denmark. The country stands out as the sole representative from the CIS at this major international event.

The national stand, organized by the Tourism Committee in collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden and leading tourism companies, features a range of activities aimed at attracting travelers from Northern Europe.

As part of the exhibition, presentations on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential are being held, alongside G2B and B2B meetings with local and international tour operators. Additionally, negotiations are underway with industry media and online travel marketing platforms.

The Danish Travel Show brings together over 1,000 tourism companies and industry professionals from nearly 40 countries, including China, India, Thailand, Türkiye, the U.S., Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Mexico, and others. With an estimated 60,000 visitors over three days, the event presents a significant opportunity to promote Uzbekistan as a unique travel destination.
