Uzbekistan loses to Oman in friendly match

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan football national team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hand of Oman in a friendly match against Oman in Almalyk.

The first match of two planned games between Uzbekistan and Oman was held in Almalyk on 27 May. The second match will be held in Tashkent on 29 May.

Uzbekistan head coach Mirjalal Kasimov fielded several youngsters to the match against Oman. Uzbekistan dominated in the match, but the Uzbek team lost with the score 1-0.

Ahmad al-Muhayjriy netted the only goal of the match on 19 minutes after free-kick.
