Economy 27/07/2007 Uzbekistan looking forward to cooperating with Kazakh investors
"The Kazakh businessmen may privatize objects and enterprises in Uzbekistan if they have specific investment plans", Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov stated Thursday after the first day of his official visit to Uzbekistan, Kazinform reported.

According to the Kazakh premier, he discussed new initiatives of Uzbekistan in privatizing the economic objects with the Uzbek authorities within the frame of the bilateral negotiations. The Kazakh side has closely studied the recent decree of the Uzbek leader on measure on further deepening of the privatization process and active attraction of the foreign investments.

"New revolutionary approaches to privatization have been sorted out in Kazakhstan. I have coordinated this problem with the President of Uzbekistan and officially inform the Kazakh business circles that Uzbekistan is waiting for the investors from Kazakhstan. But there is an indispensable condition. The investors ought to have a concrete and clean investment scheme", head of the Kazakh Government stated.
