Uzbekistan-Lithuania Business Forum held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 6 November 2024, a joint business forum between Uzbekistan and Lithuania took place in Tashkent, with more than 100 representatives from the business communities of both countries attending. The forum focused on sectors such as transport logistics, energy, engineering, food industry, and services, and included bilateral B2B meetings.

From 3 to 8 November 2024, a delegation from the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists is visiting Tashkent.

The event was opened by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Remigijus Kabacius, Director of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists’ Council of Entrepreneurs.

Also attending the forum was Gvidas Kerušauskas, the Consul General of Lithuania in Almaty.

During the event, Nesor Roxana, Deputy Director of the Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Investments under the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, and representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan presented a report on the country’s investment potential and business prospects.

Additionally, presentations were made by leading Lithuanian companies such as "TRANSPORTO VYSTYMO GRUPĖ," "TRANZITO PASLAUGŲ CENTRAS," "BEGA," and "ONYX."

As a result of the forum, a series of B2B meetings were held between Uzbek and Lithuanian business representatives, leading to agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.
