President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for development of the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

According to the decree, about one million Uzbek citizens will be able to travel around the country, including students of educational institutions, children with disabilities and children from low-income families, workers, pensioners, mahalla activists, women and other population groups.

The President of Uzbekistan instructed the State Committee for Tourism Development to prepare a plan of practical measures to implement the program within a month.

Entrepreneurs, providing tourism services and participating in the program, must meet the criteria of quality and safety.
