Uzbekistan launches 1.642 sq. meters of habitations in 1Q 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan commissioned 1.642 million square of habitation in the result of adopted additional measures on development of habitation construction in the first quarter of 2011 , the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee said in a joint material.
The state bodies said that the growth made up 14.3% year-on-year. At the same time, 1.243 million square meters of habitations were constructed in rural areas.
It added that some 20.9 billion soums of investments were directed to construction and reconstruction of water supply objects in the reporting period. Some 287.4 kilometers of water supply networks have been launched, of which 236.9 km fell to share of rural areas.
