The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the delegations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Latvia will hold consultations in Riga.

As reported earlier, Tashkent hosted the ninth round of political consultations between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Latvia on 24 February 2012.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Latvia made up US$185.6 million in January-September 2012 (US$154.1 million in January-September 2011).

At the same time, exports of Uzbekistan made up US$54.4 million (US$63.9 million) and imports – US$131.1 million (US$90.2 million) in the reporting period.
