Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a delegation consisting of heads of industrial associations of our country is on a working visit to the Republic of Korea. The purpose of the visit is to expand economic cooperation between the two countries and effectively implement the agreements reached during previous meetings.

On the first day of the visit, the chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat association and members of the delegation met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Duck-soo. 

An exchange of views took place on issues of further intensifying the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, strengthening economic ties, and implementing previously reached agreements.

And also between the foreign policy departments of the two countries, initiatives were put forward to establish close cooperation and implement new projects and programs between government departments and industry associations of Uzbekistan and Korea. Further prospects for close partnership were discussed.
