Uzbekistan keeps its place in new FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
FIFA, world football governing body, announced new ranking of national teams for May 2011. In line new ranking, Uzbekistan kept its place in the ranking.
Uzbekistan occupies the 83rd place with 403 points. Uzbekistan holds the sixth place among the Asian countries after Japan (14th place), Australia (20), South Korea (31), Iran (48) and China (77).
Among the CIS states, Uzbekistan is fourth behind Russia (18), Ukraine and Armenia.
Spain tops the FIFA ranking and the Netherlands hold the second place. Brazil is on the third place.
