Uzbekistan keeps its place in new FIFA ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
FIFA, world football governing body, announced new ranking of national teams for March 2011. In line new ranking, Uzbekistan kept the 77th place with 438 points.
Uzbekistan holds the sixth place among the Asian countries after Japan (938 points), Australia (870), South Korea (779), Iran (574) and China (439).
Uzbekistan is the fourth country among the CIS countries. Russia (956), Ukraine (707) and Belarus (634) were placed higher than Uzbekistan.
Spain tops the FIFA ranking (1880) despite the country lost seven points. The Netherlands hold the second place with 1,730 points and Germany is on third place with 1,468 points.
