Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution "On Joining International Agreements."

According to this decree, Uzbekistan will join the following protocols, conventions, and agreements:

- The Second Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union (Addis Ababa, on 7 September 2018);

- The Third Additional Protocol to the General Regulations of the Universal Postal Union (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021);

- The Universal Postal Convention (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021);

- The Final Protocol of the Universal Postal Convention (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021);

- The Agreement on Postal Payment Services (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021);

- The Final Protocol of the Agreement on Postal Payment Services (Abidjan, on 26 August 2021).

The Ministry of Digital Technologies has been designated as the competent authority responsible for implementing these international agreements.

The Cabinet of Ministers and heads of relevant ministries and departments will monitor compliance with the provisions of these international agreements after they come into force.
