Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 29 July 2019 the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development will hold a presentation on the introduction of the Muslim Hospitality service from the Singapore CrescentRating agency in Uzbekistan.
Agency CrescentRating is one of the largest experts in the field of halal tourism. Since 2015, the organization determines the Global Muslim Travel Index, which is based on more than 40 criteria in 130 countries, which makes it attractive for Muslim tourists.
In 2019, Uzbekistan ranked 22nd in the World Index of Muslim Travel, which is 10 times higher than last year. Also, within the framework of the I International Forum on Ziyorat-Tourism, held on February 21-23, 2019 in Bukhara, a Memorandum of Understanding and Bilateral Cooperation was signed between the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and CrescentRating.
In accordance with the agreement, CrescentRating signed an agreement with the state unitary enterprise “Center for Certification of Tourist Services” on the introduction in May of this year of the rating of Muslim hotel services in tourist organizations of the country.
This rating system is voluntary, and tourism organizations using it will have some advantages in the field of Muslim tourism. For example:
free training courses of the Agency CrescentRating for tourism organizations;
discounts on certified courses in Halal Tourism;
promotion of tourism services internationally;
Muslim hospitality rating provides an opportunity to increase your income by attracting tourists.
This rating system can be used by travel agencies, hotels, catering places, airports, train stations, shopping and entertainment venues. In the ranking, international experts pay special attention to the amenities and needs of Muslim tourists in the above-mentioned tourist sites.
On 29 July, CrescentRating Executive Director Fazal Bakhardin will provide the participants with detailed information on the counseling and training courses offered by the agency.
It is expected that the event will be attended by representatives of tourism organizations and the media in Uzbekistan.
