Uzbekistan is interested in cooperation with Russia’s Omsk region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk region (Russia) Evgeniy Vdovin and Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Abdurakhim Kayumov discussed issues of trade-economic and cultural relation between Uzbekistan and Omsk region on 25 November.
The sides also considered issues of developing tourism, migration and employement of the Uzbek population, living in Omsk region.
Abdurakhim Kayumov underlined that Omsk region is priority partner of Uzbekistan both in economic activity and exchange of cultural values.
On the same day, the Uzbek diplomat visited at the opening ceremony of photo exhibition “Tashkent - 2,200 years”, which was organized by Omsk State Regional Scientific Library named after Pushkin at the support of the Omsk Government. He also met will representatives of the Uzbek Diaspora.
On 26 November, Abdurakhim Kayumov will visit exhibition-forum “Infrastructure support of entrepreneurship in Omsk region”.
