This is the second event, directed at attracting tourists from the most western region of Russia to Uzbekistan.

In June, about 10 tour operators and journalists from Kaliningrad visited Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent.

During the presentation, the participants watched video presentation on sights of all Uzbek cities. Singers and dancers entertained the participants with their songs and dances. The participants also had chance to taste Uzbek pilaf, samsa and sweets.

Representative of Silk Road Victoria Toltigina said that Uzbekistan hopes that citizens of Kaliningrad will not only choose tasty Uzbek fruits and vegetables, but also visit the country.

It is worth to mention that the minimal cost of five day tour to Uzbekistan, which includes visits to Tashkent and Samarkand, flight and train tickets, is 810 euros.
