Uzbekistan introduces mandatory marking to some goods
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will introduce mandatory marking to separate groups of imported consumer goods from 1 January 2012.

The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a corresponding resolution, which also approved a Regulation on order of marking imported consumer goods with special control identification signs.

The document also set list of goods, which will be marked in mandatory order. The list includes such goods as facilities for preparing and heating food, air conditioners, equipped with ventilator and engines, as well as temperature meters, etc.

Refrigerators, deep-freezer, other freezing equipment, vacuum cleaners, electric ranges, DVD-players, dishwashing facilities, and others will be also marked.

The Government of Uzbekistan banned to store and realize unmarked imported consumer goods, which should be marked. According to the document, non-adherence of this requirement will be considered as trade rules violation.

Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan allowed to realize goods, imported to Uzbekistan before 1 January 2012 and should be marked, without marking till 1 July 2012.
