Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the President “On the introduction of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan version 2022” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution of the Oliy Majlis “On accession to the International Convention on the Harmonized Description and Coding System” and the Agreement on the Unified Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity is used in Uzbekistan. It is based on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO).

To unify the WTO international classification of goods, amendments and additions were made to the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System.

In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to approve the list of goods with changed classification codes.

The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the State Customs Committee will post on their official websites the updated Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the 2022 version.
