Within the fair, the country also inked contacts for US$500 million to export of products of the Uzbek enterprises. About US$100 million of them fell to share of ready products supplies.

According to the fair organizers, over 600 representatives of 300 foreign traders and textile companies from 36 countries participated at the event.

International Uzbek Cotton Fair is organized in Tashkent for the sixth time under aegis of International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). Since 2005, Uzbekistan has signed contracts for total volume of about 5 million tonnes of cotton-fiber, including futures deals.
