Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Between January and February 2024, Uzbekistan imported 17,553 passenger cars worth a total of US$383.1 million, the Statistics Agency reports.

This is 12,527 more vehicles compared to the same period of the previous year.

Of the total number of imported vehicles, the largest share came from China with 12,808 units, followed by South Korea with 4,176 vehicles.

In addition, in January-February of this year, 455 cars were imported to Uzbekistan from the USA, 29 from Japan and 27 from Germany.
