Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the first quarter of 2024, 75,000 tons of Russian oil were imported into Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan, KazTransOil JSC said in a statement.

According to a company from Kazakhstan, 50,000 tons of oil are planned to be transited along this route in April.

KazTransOil also noted that this year the volume of transit of Russian oil to Uzbekistan could reach 550,000 tons.

In 2023, KazTransOil transited 154,300 tons of Russian oil to Uzbekistan.

KazTransOil JSC transports Russian oil through Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in accordance with the delivery schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
