Uzbekistan imports 4,415 cars worth US$75.9 million
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first two months of 2025, Uzbekistan imported 4,415 passenger cars valued at US$75.9 million, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
China remains the largest supplier of cars, accounting for 3,149 units imported into the country.
A significant portion of the imports came from the Republic of Korea, with 1,191 vehicles shipped to Uzbekistan.
Smaller amounts were imported from Japan (32 cars), Germany (11 cars), as well as the United States and Mexico, with 8 cars each.
Thus, China continues to dominate as the leading exporter of passenger cars to Uzbekistan, providing over 71% of the total imports during the reporting period.
